
On September 17, 2025, the Embassy of Vietnam in Morocco celebrated the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day with great fanfare at its premises in Rabat. The event brought together nearly 400 guests, including prominent Moroccan figures such as Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, and Mrs. Nadia Touhami, Vice-President of the House of Representatives.
In his speech, H.E. Mr. Lê Kim Quy, Ambassador of Vietnam, highlighted the remarkable progress of Vietnam over the past eight decades and emphasized the strength of diplomatic relations with Morocco, established nearly 65 years ago.
The Moroccan Minister praised Vietnam's development and expressed his desire to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the economic, cultural, and educational fields, while positioning both countries as regional gateways to Southeast Asia and Africa.
The ceremony, punctuated by Vietnamese cultural and culinary performances, showcased the genuine friendship between the Moroccan and Vietnamese peoples, in a spirit of openness and sharing.
