On the occasion of the annual Gala of the American Chamber of Commerce in Morocco (AmCham Morocco), celebrating 240 years of Moroccan-American friendship and 20 years of free trade, Laprophan stood out among the official partners alongside OCP, Visa, Coca-Cola, and Oulmès.
A strong symbol of our commitment to strengthening the ties between innovation, cooperation, and human health.
Science in the service of bringing people together
A few months earlier, in Laâyoune, Laprophan participated in the 1st Moroccan-American Medical Symposium, in partnership with St. Francis Hospital in New York and the Faculty of Medicine of Laâyoune.
This event illustrated what we advocate: shared medicine, based on the transfer of skills and scientific dialogue between peoples.
Innovating to protect life
Our teams are working to make health safer and more accessible:
- Drug traceability through blockchain, against counterfeiting.
- AI applied to clinical trials, to accelerate therapeutic discovery.
- Biotechnological research via IBYLTECH (in partnership with UM6P), exploring nanobodies derived from camelids, a promising avenue for African medicine.
A vision for Africa
Africa still imports the majority of its medicines.
At Laprophan, we believe it is time to reverse this trend: to make our continent an autonomous player in its health, through technology, training, and cooperation.
Since 1949, we have remained true to a simple conviction:
to heal is to connect people, beyond borders.
