On November 13, 1998, in Rabat, Laboratoires de Produits Pharmaceutiques d'Afrique du Nord — Laprophan — were recognized by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Handicraft. As part of the 1998 Quality Awards, the company was granted the Quality Encouragement Prize, an official acknowledgment of its commitment within the pharmaceutical industry.
This prize was part of a national initiative to promote industrial excellence and encourage Moroccan companies to place quality at the heart of their development.
