Training Cycle on Practical Skills in Pharmacy: Second Class

The Faculty of Pharmacy at Mohammed VI University of Health Sciences organized, in collaboration with LAPROPHAN laboratories, the second edition of the certified training cycle on "practical skills in the pharmacy."

This training cycle, unique of its kind in Morocco, has contributed this year to the skill enhancement of 350 pharmacy assistants from various regions of the Kingdom. In addition to the technical skills related to the daily responsibilities that pharmacy assistants are expected to fulfill under the supervision and responsibility of the pharmacist, this training placed particular emphasis on the proper use of medication and allowed participants to train on various situations to avoid misuse and manage interactions with prescribers.

The establishment of this university training cycle has, to date, trained 750 pharmacy assistants and prepared them to fully play their role in promoting the proper use of medication, adhering to medical prescriptions, and preventing situations of misuse of health products.

Mohammed VI University mobilized a multidisciplinary team of professors and industry experts covering various fields of expertise (pharmacy, medicine, communication, marketing, and management). LAPROPHAN laboratories, pioneers of the Moroccan pharmaceutical industry, provided logistical and organizational support for the occasion, particularly due to their strong presence in Moroccan pharmacies.
