Q: What does this innovation award mean for Laprophan?

R: It is primarily the unanimity with which this award was granted to us that honors us, knowing that the jury is composed of profiles and expertise from diverse backgrounds.

Q: How do you view this scientific (or galenic) achievement made by Laboratoires Laprophan?

R: At Laprophan, we are proud to be part of this new Morocco full of energy and ambitions in which we see ourselves.

Q: Will the "Research" aspect of Laboratoires Laprophan evolve in light of this world first?

R: "Ixor" is not our first specialty to have resulted in an innovation patent. "Di-indo," which is an anti-inflammatory, as well as Néofortan, an antispasmodic, have also been the subject of international patents with recognized protection for twenty years, but this is the first time, with Ixor, that we have submitted a research file to the competition organized by R&D Maroc. Of course, this encourages and motivates us to persevere.

Q: What are the other projects that constitute the main focus of Laboratoires Laprophan?

R: Having patented innovative medicines reinforces our ambitions internationally. We also aim to establish a new research and development center that will meet the needs of our scientific teams and will also allow us to locally integrate some of the expertise we practice in partnerships between Laprophan and certain European faculties.
