As part of its ongoing commitment to improving access to healthcare and supporting vulnerable populations, Groupe Laprophan provided support to Operation Smile Morocco through a donation of essential medicines.
This contribution supported the surgical mission organized in May at Al Antaki Hospital in Marrakech, dedicated to children with facial clefts. Thanks to this mobilization, Operation Smile Morocco was able to successfully carry out a high-impact medical and surgical mission.
In total, 151 patients were screened and evaluated during the mission, including 74 patients who benefited from reconstructive surgery. These procedures offer beneficiaries a new perspective for the future and contribute significantly to improving their quality of life.
As a committed partner in solidarity-based healthcare initiatives, Laprophan reaffirms through this action its willingness to support medical and associative stakeholders working every day to bring care closer to patients who need it most.
Operation Smile Morocco has been carrying out medical and surgical activities for children with facial clefts for several years, performing more than 300 surgeries each year and maintaining regular activity within the pediatric surgery department created at Bouafi Hospital.
Through this support, Groupe Laprophan confirms its civic commitment to solidarity, community healthcare, and improving patient care for vulnerable populations in Morocco.
