LAPROPHAN laboratories are among the few companies that mark whole generations. Their history, closely linked with that of the pharmaceutical industry in Morocco, is rich in events, hopes and innovations.
LAPROPHAN is also the incarnation of the dream of a man, Late Mr. Abderrahim BENNIS, who at the dawn of independence had the will and the courage to create the first Moroccan pharmaceutical laboratory.
The founding work and the noble values that motivated this pioneer, guided in their actions, men and women who have carried since the creation of LAPROPHAN in 1949 the banner of this industrial star.
Mr. Abderrahim BENNIS, a PhD in pharmacy, was president of the Pharmacists Federation of Casablanca, president of the National Council of the Pharmacists Association in Morocco between 1958 and 1977, president and founder of the Professional Union of Pharmaceutical Industry in Morocco.
At the international level, he was also a member of the executive committee of the Arab Pharmaceutical Union (AUPAM), president of the Pharmaceutical Industry section of the Arab League, and the first Moroccan personality member of the National French Academy of Pharmacy.
